Bailey was born at Devils@Cradle in 2021. During a standard pouch check when he was in his mum’s pouch it was discovered he was not doing as well as his siblings, so from a very young age he was hand-raised. After a long journey, he grew into a heathy boy and eventually started making appearances on our Joey Encounters, becoming a very important ambassador for his species. At two years old we gave him the opportunity to breed but, due to his gentle and kind nature, he was unfortunately put in the “friend-zone”. Now heading into his third year, he is living out his retirement in style, enjoying one of our larger Eastern quoll enclosures with a few of his friends. Bailey can sometimes be seen on our Day Keeper Tours.
