By making a donation to the Devils@Cradle sanctuary you are directly supporting our conservation efforts to preserve the unique species we have in Tasmania. All donations are warmly welcomed and go directly to the conservation programs. We accept a minimum donation online of $10 AUD. Thanks for your help!
Our Adoption Program is a ‘Symbolic Adoption’ of Tasmanian Devil, Spotted-Tail or Eastern Quoll, and helps to support this animal for a period of 12 months.
Adopting a Tasmanian animal through our sanctuary is directly contributing to the ongoing survival of these threatened and endangered species, and is a unique gift idea!
Sponsorship programs are a great way to support this endangered species and a perfect corporate or private gift. Funds go towards supporting the sponsored animal for either a period of 12 months, or an ongoing annual payment for the duration of it’s life.
Please contact us at business@devilsatcradle.com if you would like to know more.
A gift voucher is a great present to send to someone special, when you order one of our vouchers the recipient will receive the voucher via email. Give the experience of our wonderful sanctuary!
Gifts in wills, or bequests, is another way to support our important conservation work into the future.
When you leave a gift to Devils@Cradle, it will be directed towards our species conservation programs and it will go to the most vital and relevant areas of work required at the time. For example, your gift may be put towards, growing our breeding population and constructing additional enclosures, or supporting the health and well being of our population, or supporting science and research within our sanctuary.
Of course, you can also specify that you want your gift to go to a particular species program such as; Tasmanian devil, Spotted-tail quoll or Eastern quoll.
You can be confident that your gift will make an enduring difference for these threatened species.

Volunteer positions are ideal for interested travellers, work experience, students and local residents that are interested and wanting to get involved in assisting in several aspects of work being carried out throughout the sanctuary.
Volunteers essentially shadow and assist the senior staff and keepers with various day to day tasks around the sanctuary including husbandry, maintenance, cleaning, sanctuary operations, field monitoring (seasonal) and the orphan rehabilitation program (seasonal).
Both short-term and long-term volunteer positions are available, for periods of time between a minimum of 4 days, and up to several months. Being in a remote area, such volunteer work does typically require the volunteer to stay at Cradle Mountain, or be within the local area for a length of time. There is no charge to volunteer at the facility, however it is the expectation that whilst here volunteers are responsible for being self-sufficient and making all travel arrangements themselves.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience within a working conservation facility in Tasmania’s premier, and only, species specific conservation facility, right on the doorstep to Tasmania’s iconic wilderness, and the ‘Cradle Mt Lake St Clair National Park and World Heritage Area’.
We have very limited spaces for volunteers, so bookings are essential and volunteers must be 18 years or older.
We invite people to enquire by emailing info@devilsatcradle.com.
