Bio:

Edamame was born at a Tasmanian government-run breeding facility and transferred to us before last years breeding season as part of the Save the Tasmanian Devil Program. She was recommended to be paired with a few of our lovely boys, but sadly she did not have any joeys this year. She is still a young lady however, and will be given another chance next year.

Eddie is a smallish girl and a confident but calm and quiet lady. Outside of feeding time she could be considered polite or even friendly and we will often see her snuggling up next to enclosure-mate The Kraken like two peas in a pod. But, when food is involved, she is a different devil, and has no problem holding her own amongst the other devils.

Eddie is currently one of our superstars on our After Dark Feeding Tours and Sunset Experience, but is also one of the favourites for guests enjoying General Entry/Day Keeper Tours.

Processing Times:

Please allow 2-5 business days for processing of both digital and hard copy adoption packs.

Postage Times:

Devils@Cradle is located in a very remote area in Tasmania’s alpine wilderness. It may be up to a week before a staff member can reach the nearest post office, and there may be times when roads are cut off by ice and snow. For these reasons, please allow extra time for postage. If you need to receive your adoption pack sooner, please email us at info@devilsatcradle.com and we will try our best to accommodate.
