The Field Monitoring Program collects data on all these species within the wilderness of Cradle Mountain through the use of remote cameras, road kill surveys, spotlight surveys and liaising with the local community and visitors to the sanctuary.
Remote camera monitoring has been conducted within the Cradle Mountain area since 2006 which has provided an invaluable insight into the local wild populations working closely with the Parks and Wildlife, Save the Tasmanian Devil Program, University of Tasmanian, and the Tasmanian Land Conservancy.
